Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how to claim a Chapter VIA deduction of approximately £197,000 when the breakdown isn't detailed on Form 16. Participants advise entering the full amount under Section 80C, up to the maximum limit of £150,000. It's crucial to have supporting documents for these investments readily available.

Are you sure 1,97,000/- either PF or LIC premium ?.
You can just enter the amount in 80C deduction without giving bifurcation
Show it under 80C
Under 80 C maximum deduction available 1,50,00/- .
Chapter VIA REBATE MAX. AVAILABLE IS RS. 150000
You need to have the proofs available with you and show the entire deduction of 150000
There is one assumption by all the participants of creating a realistic event ; so obviously proof of investment will be there.
