Deduction under chapter VI-A.

if a salaried person having form 16 B, showing deductions as Rs 150000 in it, while filling itr assessee claiming Rs 15000 as payment towards medical insurance,then can the assessee claim total deductions as Rs 165000 in chapter Vi- A ? and claim the refund as the already tax paid will reduce ?
