is deduction of stamp duty paid on registration of property allowed u/s 80c

yes gaurav, it is allowed.

further, u can also claim deductions for other expenses like brokerage paid to property dealers, documents writing expenses etc.... but upto a total limit of Rs. 100000/- u/s 80c, 80cce, 80ccd
