Please explain about Prefessional Tax concept.
Is there any minimum salary criteria or Employer just deduct it randomlly.

Professional tax is the tax which is to be paid for your profession. It is deducted from your salary u/s 16(iii) of IT ACT by your employer normally p.tax is 2500 rupees

It's not randomly. it is as per prescribed slabs
