Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether tuition fees for higher education can be claimed as a tax deduction or exemption under the UK's Income Tax Act. The consensus is that for a salaried individual, there are currently no specific provisions within the Act that allow for such claims. Therefore, claiming deductions for self-education fees is not permitted.

Not allowed
You mean I couldn't take any deductions or exemptions under IT act?
