Deduction and deposit of tds by an individual from rent paid

Pl. let me know what as an individual I need to do for deducting and depositing TDS on monthly rent I am paying from this month. I have not yet deducted any TDS for any payment as individual. Do I need to register myself with IT department for this.

If your rent exceeding Rs.50,000 then you should deduct the tds. However you need not register.

Yes rent amount is more than Rs. 50,000. If I don't have to register then under which option I should be depositing TDS for landlord account.

Another aspect: Rent paid from April to August 2017 is 65000 per month. Thereafter left the premises. TDS by an individual to be deducted? If yes for 2 months or 5 months?
