query 1. Can we apply for re-verification and answer books in 2-3 gap days ??? or is it that when we apply for answer books then re-verification is done automatically?
query 2. (point no. 3 of https://icaiexam.icai.org/inspection/index.php?p=aWNhaTEyMzQ=) Inspection/certified copies of evaluated answer books provides information for their academic guidance. Before providing certified copies/inspection of evaluated answer books to the examinees, verification of answer books, within the scope of Regulation 39(4), will be carried out, by the office, suo motu, in respect of all applications for inspection and/or certified copy of evaluated answer book(s). Verification under Regulation 39(4) covers the following aspects: • Whether any question or part thereof has remained unvalued • Whether there is any totaling error in any question or total marks on the cover page • Whether there is any discrepancy between the stepwise marks, total marks for each question indicated on the cover page However, it may be noted that re-evaluation of answers is not permissible under Regulation 39(4). Consequent upon supply of certified copies/inspection of evaluated answer books, discrepancy if any, within the scope of verification as envisaged in Regulation 39(4) is noticed by the examinees, the examinees shall have the option to bring it to the notice of the office, within one month from the date of dispatch of certified copies/inspection of evaluated answer books. SO DOES IT MEAN IF WE FOUND ANYTHING RIGHT IN ANSWER BOOKS AND REMAINED UNCHECKED/UNMARKED/UNTOTALLED THEN WE CAN ASK ICAI TO TAKE ACTION AND CHANGE MARKS ACCORDINGLY?
query 3 Which option to tick right from Particulars of answer books, of which, you wish to seek(select One): Certified Copies or or Inspection - - diff will be wat?
1. Application for certified copies can be made after application for verification but vice-versa is not possible. And in case of certified copies application verification done by ICAI suo motto.
2. Yes we have the option to apply for correction but within 30 days from date of dispatch of the certified copies.
3. In case of Certified copies application certified copies will be provided to you through courier and in case of inspection, ICAI will personally call you and satisfy you with the marks awarded to you.
