De-merger & merger issue

Dear Ashwin, "Record Date" means the date to be fixed by the Board of Directors of ABC LIMITED (Transferor co.) for the purpose of determining the member of ABC LIMITED to whom the shares of XYZ LIMITED (Transferee co.) will be allotted pursuant to the Scheme....it may not be same as appointed date.. This is my view..... Other views r welcmd....!!!

Record date and appointed date are same when the scheme is sanctioned by High Court.
