Date of filing of st-3 for oct - mar,2013

Since nothing has been notified for the Return to be filed for Oct-Mar, the date remains as it is....i.e. 25 April.

though, since the jul-sep return is postponed to April 30, th return for oct-mar may also be postponed, but as of now nothing is announced.

But i just saw the website, the form is not yet released,  so dont know.....so probably, the date should get extended...

I feel the Central Governement and the department is responsible for all the confusion arising among the honest taxpayers. On one hand, it is advertising to pay taxes and file returns in time to avoid tension and to sleep in peace and on the other hand the necessary online forms/utility is not being updated until the last minute. When the last date for filing return for the quarter July to Sep, 2012 has been extended to 30th April, 2013 then at that very time, the department should had sensibley and in pubic interest extended the date for 2nd Half (Oct to March, 2013) from 25-04-13 to say upto 31-05-2013.

Since the online utility has not yet been provided, i strongly believe that the governemnt will soon announce the extension of date for 2nd Half for atleast 1 month, so that the returns can be filed smoothly without choking the central servers!!! So relaxx...and wait for the govt. to act!!!

Since ST-3 excell utility for OCT -March 2013 has not been notified. After notifiacation the department will notify last date for filing ST-3 for second half of 2012-2013. You can wait till that.
