Our company is paying Daily Allowance which includes Daily TA, Food allowance and Lodging on daily basis. Actually the procedure is that on the basis of claim received through mail, daily allowance is deposited on respective accounts of employees on daily basis. It is a big problem to collect hard copy of claim sheet from almost all the employees, for which we are yet to book daily allowance as an expenses. So my question is as follows.
- Is these daily allowance form part of salary
- Can daily allowance be booked without supportings.
