if you join for ICWA now, that is by December 5th 2012, you would be eligible for appearing in June 2013 exams. And the second group for inter you can appear in December 2013. Or you can appear for both the groups in December 2013. There is no compulsory requirement of 6 months  training completion for appearing in ICWA intermediate exams. For appearing in ICWA Final Exams you have to complete atleast 6 months of training out the the compulsory 3 year practical training before exams. Since you will be writing the exams for finals in 2014 and that too if you clear your inter by December 2012, this rule will be applicable for yourself and you will be eligible to write one group for Finals in December 2014. By that time you may have completed your CA Articleship . Hence doing training for icwa would not be a hindrance for yourself. Since if you may qualify CA exam during this period, you can do this training in the company where you join and start working. The requirement is only that the organization should be a 5crore turnover company.

So you may go ahead and join for icwai to increase your market value much more. Multiple qualifications are the trend now. Training of 3 Years of ICWAI will not be a hindrance as many of us are doing this in organization we are working.(6months training is a part of this 3 year training and it is to completed only when you are appearing for finals).
