I want to ask whether Custom duty and IGST Amount written on Bill of Entry can differ from what we made payment through ICEGATE Challans as My Client paid Rs. 440262 on ICEGATE but Amount on Bill of Entry is 437208.

Duty needs to be paid within 24 hrs of assessment (for group bills) & the same day of BE date for RMS bills. Failure to which duty interest has to be paid. Hence the additional amount paid would be duty interest.
