kindly advise me on the following
One of our customer has submitted C form of 1999 against sales transaction (invoice)of 2010 . Whether such an old c form is valid under Central Sales Tax Act or we have to demand a new c form buyer?

Pre vat C forms are not valid for post VAT CST transations. Hence in your case you should ask vendor to give new form C.

HI,
I dont feel there is any change in CST provisions regarding issue of Form-C subsequent to introduction of VAT. CST provisions are same even now. So I believe, even old forms can be accepted and filed.
