Dear all,
The company for which i am currently doing audit has two types of CST payable:
1. On concessional rate @ 2% by submitting C forms
2. On normal rate @ 14.5%
My question is can vat input credit availed from purchases be adjusted against the cst payable? if so then please provide an explanation.... urgent rply needed

Yes VAT input credit availed can be utilised for payment of CST output tax liability.

yes there is no restriction as to adjustment.....
