Can we set off CST input credit against VAT output tax due in any of the states in india?

No. We cant take input of CST.

CST Input credit cannot be deducted while calculating the VAT Liability.

NO input credit for CST purchase.
ON INPUT CREDIT OF CST AGAINST VAT LAIBILITY.................BUT YOU CAN TAKE CREDIT OF VAT AGAINST CST PAYABLE.....................
