only Vat credit can adjust CST libility . if excess CST paid it should be carried forword for next month.

If VAT/CST paid Excess for any month, then can it be set-off against the liability of next month.....?

YES ANY EXCESS VAT OR CST PAID CAN BE SET OFF IN THE NEXT MONT
AND IF ITS OF 31ST MARCH--- THEN VAT EXCESS SHOULD BE CLAIMED AS REFUND
BUT OF CST EXCESS NO REFUND CAN BE CLAIMED

if CST excess paid for 31st March, can it be set off or claimed as refund or It will lapse ?
