CSR
We are a Private Limited Company and xyz has paid the education fees (school or college) and asking us whether they can claim the same from us through CSR Trust. Pls confirm is it allowable or not?

Promotion of education is one clause under CSR.However if done for children of employees or so it doesnt come within the ambit of CSR.
The above case is not for our employee it is belong to third person (other than employee)

In that case it is an eligible CSR expenditure.But the same has to be dis allowed for IT purpose.
Ok sir My understanding is it will be disallowed for their IT
purpose not for our company is it right?
As per section 37(1) of IT Act is disallowed.The reason behind this section is as mentioned by you since it is not for business purpose.
