I tell this decision in turn depend upon what you ultimately want to become. In which area you want to specialise since both CWA and CS are professional course specialising in a different segments. Both have its scopes in  various segment

Can... you please ellaborate......

Pay matters a lot to me....?

Some people says that cwa is not worthy enough anymore... is this true...?

What i want to tell you, i have mentioned above. Never take decision on the basis of scope rather your own inside interest and the area you want to specialise. else, you may become a professional but will not be fruitfull.

Mr  Yugal,

Both CS and CWA are rewarding man. You please understand one thing, that the pay depends on your ability to analise and acheive results, not on your qualification. I know a ca who is struggling even for getting 30 thousand and an advocate whose billing is more than one crore per annam.

It's upto you to decide, whether to take CS or CWA. A professional course  is the one which will allow you to enter the world of professionals. Once you enter, it's your individual capability which will come to your help.

I even know a lady who is just a B.com graduate - a tax practitioner in Bangalore employed 2 Chartered Accountants under her. So select the course which you want to study.

CS is law oriented course and CWA is accounts oriented. It's up to you to decide, If you are interested in law then join CS or else  join CWA.

I truely appreciate your views... and I totally understand that interest is the driving force !!

This is what was my view a few days ago.. so I choose CWA !!

But..

As you know just because some one is earning more than CA with only B.Com does not mean that one should settle with B.Com over CA !!

Similarly..

I was warned by some people that yes.. you may have interest in Wild Life Photography... but you need to be careful..  So he said that CWA has totally lost its scope today.. no matter what.. according to him CS was an obvious choice over CWA !!

So.. I am not able to understand... What is  making that obvious difference !!

I don't want to blindly jump.. into CWA... though what ever may happen but I will try my best abilities with whatever qualifications I will have..!!

Of course what you told is correct. I will tell you one basic logic, See till the world exists there will be no end for money, as it is the medium of exchange right? Till money exists there will be no end for two professions, accounting and litigation. I think you will agree with me.

In other words there are two things which rule the corporate. One is accounting and another is law. Accounting is required for recording all transations and law is required as all the litigations will find the end only with the help of law.

CS is a branch of law and CWA is a branch of accounting. But to be honoured  in terms of respect and earning you must be in top, which you can reach only with the help of knowledge. So again it depends on your area of interest.

Again I will tell you the same thing, if you are interested in law take up CS or if you are interested in accounts take up CWA.

I totally agree with you...

I am very eager to follow my interest that is : Accounting !! Therefore CWA no doubt in that !

Hm...

So.. finally..

Only one question remains !!

That is :: (Talking irrespectivce of Interest)

Why these days CS has become more in demand than CWA ? What makes it an obvious choice for many ?

So.. please answer this one also, as I need to know the pros and cons of everything.. that I am dealing with !!

Though.. My Interest will remain a Pro always !!

It depends on one's own views. I have not seen even a single unemployed cost accountant or a cost accountat drawing less than 25,000 (freshers).

Basically I am a Company Secretary and now pursuing CWA as i came to know the pros and cons of CWA. Now you have to take a call. Whether to take up CS or CWA or both.

Sorry for the last post..... Newaz i'l tellu dnt take ne decision based on trifle in the market(cz many of dem dznt evn knw the full form of CWA/CS/!!!),evn dnt tk ne decision based on sm stats( % of passing IN CWA/CS is very low...rather analyse the whole syllabus wat u wnt 2 pursue...look wheather it suits u or ur target den go for dat... keep it in mind watever u do b prepared to give more than 100 % towards that....make it ur passion... And to gt the success 1st thing is self confidence to clear these xams(not the self confidence of cheating!!!) & 2nd thing is to explore the knwledge to bcm a proffessional from a student..... all the bst for ur future..... t c
