Current CS Executive Status (2026)

• Syllabus: The CS Executive program now operates exclusively under the 2022 Syllabus. The 2017 syllabus has been fully phased out.

• Exam Structure: The program consists of seven papers across two modules (four in Group 1 and three in Group 2), all of which are descripttive/subjective.

• Next Exam: The upcoming examinations for the December 2026 session are scheduled for December 21–28, 2026.

Preparation Strategy for 2026

To create an effective study plan for the current syllabus, consider the following approach:

• Consistent Resources: Always refer to the official ICSI study materials and amendment booklets updated for the 2026 sessions. Do not use notes from previous years, as they will not reflect current legal amendments.

• Balanced Routine: Pair a law-heavy subject with a practical or accounting subject daily to maintain focus and prevent fatigue.

• Structured Writing: Since exams are descripttive, prioritize daily writing practice. Aim to answer questions with proper headings and logical structure, as this is critical for scoring well.

• Revision & Mock Tests: Dedicate the final weeks to solving Revision Test Papers (RTPs) and Mock Test Papers (MTPs) released by the ICSI to improve your exam readiness.
