mr. pravin yes u are eligigle to claim exemption from 15 months training in cs as u are already working in the capacity of accounts manager since 4 years

as far as i knw the scope of cs is always increasing

there is always demand for professionls in mid cap companies who have done ca+cs

and already u are undergoing the best course i.e ca

so i will advise u to go for cs as

1. u are exempted from foundation as u are a graduate

2. u need not undergo 15 months traninig

3. u just have to pass 6+4=14 papers to be a cs

all the best

You will get partial exemption of 12 months. You have to undergo practical training for 3 months in a ICSI registered Company/ PCS Firm (Please not that you will not get any exemption from this three months training requirement). Moreover you have to go for 15 days training in ROC Office/ Stock Exchange and 15 days Secretarial Modular Training Program at ICSI (No exemption in this 15 days+ 15 days training).

 go through this www.icsi.edu

I finished the CA in may 2008, and i want to do CS. Presently i am working as a management trainee in a company. Will i get the cs training exemption?

Understand the details in the following link, you will get an idea to approach for exemption.

Understand all about CS Training, how to get exemption, when to do what!!!!  Whether it has to be done only with a PCS or partly with PCS and Corporate, etc... Understand what is SIP, PDP, MSOP, etc...
