U can opt for both the courses both CS & CWA

coz both r interlinked and if u study for CWA can easily write the exams of  the CS ...

So i think both can be esily done ...

THe combination of CA CS CWA plays a key role in todays market scenario

ALL THE BEST FRND

Thank you... BUT taking into the time constraing I have an option for one course.. and also advice whether the PAY scale of ICWA is more than CS ?

CA + CS is batter option.

finance/accounts + corporate laws combination increase value addition..

CA + CS would be a better option

Exemption to CS passed candidates in Papers of ICWAI
Foundation Course (4 Papers)- Complete exemption
Intermediate Course

Paper 5 - Financial Accounting

Paper 7 - Applied Direct Taxation

Final Course

3. Financial Management & International Finance (Paper 12)

4. Indirect & Direct Tax Management ( Paper 14)

I would say don’t join a course solely on the base of finding more opportunities and pay package.
.
As you are in CA final, I believe you will be having more interest in some particular subjects. If you want to make your career in the field of Finance/Accounts/Audit/Taxation etc. and want to join some manufacturing/service industry, you can join CMA course.
.
If you are more interested in corporate law and wish to handle the secretarial department of the company along with finance department, then you may join CS course.
.
Otherwise only CA is sufficient enough to make a bright career. You can also do some certificate courses offered by the CA Institute (like IFRS, Valuation, Indirect Tax, ERP etc.)

.
One thing I can assure you that even if you are just a CA and have hardcore expert knowledge in any 2 subjects of your choice then you will be more valuable than a professional with mediocre knowledge and 'n' number of degrees. This may not be realized in the initial stages of the career but after sometime this will hold the truth.

Cs is a far bettter option than CWA

Hai Abhishek CWA is equally very good . now it had improved a lot .. and also the opportunites are good ...  additional professional course along with CA is always an ADDED ADVANTAGE

Hello Friend,

As per my suggestion with CA you should go for CS to grab top opportunities at management level. CS is a very good combination with CS as far as course content and understanding the corporate environment is concerned.

If you are having CS qualification then it would be counted as an additional advantage and you can easily and confidently handle or administer secretarial work/department along with the account work/department.

This advice is based on my professional experience. Hope this would be off some help. Other courses are also good. But my vote goes for CS as according to me CS qualification is the gate pass for top management position.

Best Regards

ca and cs combination is excellnt

and after clearng cs u cn also apply for cwa nd due to cs u'll get exemptn in some subjects of cwa

nd rest is ur wish

Thank you every one......IT SEEMS THAT THE OPPORTUNITIES AND VALUE ADDTION IS MORE IN "CS" AS COMPARED TO "CWA".. BUT  the last one.... What will the better pay scale combination....????

As far as better pay scale is concerned --- go for CA +CS. With 10-15 years experience as CA CS you can easily qualify for the position CEO/CFO having good finance and management skills and understanding.
