There's a computer exam which has become mandatory for appearing for the exams. Any ideas on this; type of questions etc would be appreciated...also, any chance of this not being mandatory for December exam?
As per last issue of Student secretray, the exam can be completed by Feb 25th. i.e you can apply provisionally for Dec exam.
The test is for 90 mins. Mostly covering e-commerce, MS Office, windows, digital signature etc.

Hi,
Thanks..but any idea of the type of questions..as in, how many question? just encircke the correct answer, true/false types or we actually have to write the answers..basically that would help to prepare..
hi, i am also appearing next month.what i know is 200 question to be answered in 90 minutes & exam format is objective type and follow the material what they had given which is very funny to understand the matter
There were 35 objective type questions in my test. Material will be provided by NIIT on paying the necessary fee. That material would be sufficient for preparation.
Hi,
I just checked with the Saket branch who said there is no material..in case you've passed and dont need it , can you give the material to me? Please feel free to ask for payment. And if you want the material back, i can just go through it and return it to you in a day. Were all 35 questions objective? I mean, what is true/false, encircle the correct answer or what?
I didnt get the material as I had already completed the CA computer course and hence eligible for exemption from the classes. I understand the course fee is around Rs.3000/- ? I paid only the test fee of about Rs.500/- and took the test without getting the material But I did go through another student's material just before the test.
NIIT should give you material for the test. You can contact the CS Inst. They should not be making you go through the trouble of searching for material.
All 35 questions are objective type. Both true/false and choose the correct answer type. Some questions are relatively simple but some can confuse you. Try and get hold of the material. You can also ask CA students for their computer test material. Should be more or less the same.
