hello everyone.. please HELP ME here..

though there r a lot of threads on this topic, i am still confused about which reference books to buy for CS EXEC since there are many books/titles written by below - mentioned authors.. for instance, there are are 3-4 books by Girish ahuja for TAx, which one should i opt for? so could u guys please tell me the publisher name as well as the exact title of the reference books? It would be of immense help to me...

i will copy-paste ankur sir's thread about the book list here:

1) General and commercial law==Study Material + Scanner problems with ICSI Guidelines solutions of previous exam especially for practical problems and their presentation.

2) Company Accounts == Shukla & Grawal + Question given in Study Material

3) Cost and Mgt. Accounts == S.N. Maheshwari + Question given in Study Material

4) Tax Laws--Girish Ahuja (for theory) & V.K. Singhania for practical problems

5)Company law== Munish Bhandari + Study Material + Scanner

6)Security law and compliances--Study Material + ICSI Guidelines + Study Material

7)Economic and Labour laws.— Study Material + Scanner with ICSI Guidelines of previous exam

Go through the books suggested my Ankur sir. i had followed them and cleared grp 1 and hopefully will clear 2nd grp as well.

yes i'm planning to stick to ankur sir's list completely.. but i need help regarding the book titles and publishers so that it becomes easy for me to find and buy the books asap...

yes , i am agree with simranjeet. just go with ankur sir's suggested material beside's that use scanner & suggested answers. i've cleared first group this why.

I referred sangeet kedia's book for Company law,economic and labour law and securities law.

For GCL i referred K.S.Anantharaman along with scanner

CACM-Study material

Tax-I Refered a book by K.Hariharan for CS Executive

I cleared all the papers with good marks.These were useful to me

The most important thing in CS exec is that there are choices in all the papers and all the papers have the same pattern which makes it easy to study.

One should have a plan for all the subjects to clear the exam.It is not necessary to study everything

For ex Every paper will have short notes questions for 20 marks objective questions for 20 marks diiferentiate between questions for 20 marks and case questions for 20-30 marks

So after studying the above books i studied all past exam questions in th above pattern mentioned

For exaple-I studied all the differntiate between questions of all the chapters first and then all short notes questions of all the chapters and so on.
