Hi everybody,

i regestered for CS exe 2010. and joined some famous coching in HYD, i received the best from them. and prepared for 6 months and appered in dec2011 and flunked by 10 marks average. i reappered in june2012 same again with 11m avg, and in dec2012 again i lost my second group by 10 marks. i have almost lost my confidences as this june 2013 will be my 5th attempt i am not getting where i am stucked up.

After failling my 2st attempt i joined an MNC in hyd, and screw up my self, i took the copies of my papers from the instuite but still i am not able to find why i am failling,

1. i always quoted section in Company law when i was very sure about it.

2. i also quoted case laws.

>>My problem is i am not able to provide a satisfactory answer to the evaluator.

can some body help me how to do this?

Just Concentrate on your June, 2013 attempt.

Forget previous attempts.

Make your own hand written notes of Securities Law. Professional Exam required continous study so study regularly.

Solve Past Exam Paper's.

Refer Good reference book Like Sangeet kedia and Do scanner properly.

I Clear My Execuitive in this Dec 12 Only.

Dnt worry kaushik in proffessional xams lucks matter a lot... Dis time jst concentrate on ur study and frgt abt the past, refer scanner solve last 5 years paper... Remember out of 15 chapters if u r doing 10 chapters give ur best... Keep ur mind relax and dnt take tnsn.. work hard on SEBI... Best of luck..

The importance of Study Material should not be under estimated. In addition the guideline answers of 6 - 8 attempts must be followed religiously. Best of luck

Iam a qualified chartered accountant , recently I have cleared the CS executive exam. But in no paper I have quoted the section number unless specific. Just I am mentioning it to tell you that the Sec number is not impartant.

My suggetion is write one group. May be you are unable to find the time for both the groups.

Attempt the previous exam paper in similar exam coditions and ask your friends to evaluate your paper or do the self evalution.

Do the group study.

And finally I understood that you are prepariing for the exam only after the exam. But dont stop the preparation even after the exam . I will tell the reason why suppose in case of negative your preparation will help you to write the next exam. In case if you pass the exam that will ease your professional (final) exam.

Spend first 4 months for conceptual understanding. and later 3 months for exam oriented preparation like scanners, Last year papers.

And do the yoga regularly. physical excercise also

I hope you do all these, you definently pass the exam.

Dear Student,

In CS exams even theory subjects are full of practicals such as important case laws, it is difficult for you as a student to ascertain whether you had written it correctly or not.

Try and implement these things

1) In each paper atleast 10 to 15 marks of objective questions are asked, for this you will require a thorough reading of ICSI modules.

2) Try to give as many as tests as possible.

3) Start your answer with brief introduction paragraph ( 4 to 5 lines) of an answer and then instead of writing the answer in paragraph form, write it in bullets (Point wise)

4) If you are sure about the sections, you can mention them in the paper. Mention of Case laws are more important than mention of Sections.

5) For Company Law, read the question very carefully as the questions in last 2 sessions have been really tricky.

6) Module is the best book you can refer to in C.S Exams, reference book should only be used for reference.
