CS 15 MS practical training

12 Months practical experience and 3 months training is mandatory for all CS students for obtaining the membership whether one wants to do an employment service with company or in practice. Go through the website of ICSI - www.icsi.edu for more details. 

Is it necessary to do training under cs if someone has already doing training under ca????

Ya Shallu, to get membership no. its compulsory to do training under pcs or in companies imparting training as per icsi list.

IS IT OPTIONAL? OR MANDATORY ? ASPER MY KNOWLDGE IT IS OPTIONAL FOR JOB IN COMPNIES.

Yes, 15 months training is compulsory to get eligible for membership after completing all the papers of Professional stage. Whether done under PCS or registered company doesn't matter as both will be counted same for this purpose. However, one can get relaxation from 15 months training if he/she could show at least 3 years of on the job experience in a company having min. paid up capital of Rs. 25Lacs and holding a responsible position. But the ultimate decision to allow relaxation rest with the council and no one could challenge that. Moreover, this is only relaxation not exemption from training as one has still to undergo 3 months training for being eligible for membership.

If planned properly, one can get save the time for doing 15 months training and get absorbed in the job early.

Deepa, m doing training under pcs. n u can get job without training also bt training is good to learn all work n its nice experiance.

Vipin, OTM is enough if u reading only at last day of exams, if u reading in last mnth of exams thn scaner n suggested ans r enough thn no need to depend on OTM.

Agreed with ravi sir....But i think that even the 3 months can be availed as an exemption subject to satisfyingcertain criteria of the institute.

In my opinion u should refer scanner and guideline answers also if u hv time....in case u r appearing for dec. xam, u dont hv much time left now, so go through Only dis much.....as it covers each chapter fully, but the answers r in short manner, so u hv to elaborate answers accordingly according to its weightage.....

If u hv any further query or doubt in any chapter then feel free to ask....i wil try my best to resolve ur doubts on any topic...
