In one of our client's case, TDS of previous financial year was not claimed as credit fully during self assessment. Can they claim credit for the portion of unutilised TDS for this year? However the income has been assessed in the previous financial year only.

NO, it can not be claimed, u can file rectification u/s 154 for re calculation of TDS
