Cpt registration

Hello,  My Sister is persuing CPT course. She registered herself In August 2010  after which, she gave 3 attempts ( December 2010, June 2011 and December 2011). Unfortunately she could not clear CPT. I have heard that CPT registration is Valid for 3 years . I tried to search and confirm it on official Notification from ICAI in this regards, but I could not find the same. Please be kind enough to guide  me on this as to whether I need to get registered afresh or can appear  for CPT Exam to be held June 2012 under the same registration of August 2010. Kindly treat it as urgent please.

Dear Girish,

According to my knowledge No need to do registered again she can give June attempt.

There is no restriction with regard to the maximum number of attempts that a student can make at the CPT level. The only requirement is timely application for the examination.

The registration does not expire. It needs to be done only once. A student once registered, can appear at the CPT examinations by paying the examination fee as many times as needed.

All the Best
