CPT registration

Now there is no CPT. In the Revised Scheme of education of CA Course it is replaced by CA Foundation.

Last Date for Registration and Cut -off dates have changed. Earlier Last Date for CA CPT Registration for June / December every year was 1st April / 1st October respectively.

But Now

Last Date for CA Foundation / May 2018 is 31st December 2017.

Last Date for CA Foundation /  November 2018 is 30th June 2018.

If you have not registered yourself for Foundation till December 2017, then you are not eligible for May 18 attempt.

register yourself before 30tH June 18 so that you become eligible for Nov 18 attempt.

You Cannot register for CPT exam because of CPT registrations were closed from 1 July 2017. Now can register for CA foundation exam. CA foundation exam is now entrance exam for CA course which replaces CPT exam.

CA foundation exam will conduct twice in a year May/Nov same as other exams of CA course like CA Intermediate and CA final. The last date of registration for CA foundation May 2018 was 31 December 2017 but you missed it. Now you can register for CA foundation November 2018, the last date of registration will be 30th June 2018. 

After clearing your 12th examinations you are eligible for CA foundation Exam. So you can apply for your CA foundation registration. 

No, you can't register for CA CPT because ICAI officially closed the new registration for CPT. With the introduction of the new CA course, you only register for CA Foundation, which is actually a new type of entrance exam for CA. Follow the CA Foundation Registration guide.

You can register yourself in CA Foundation with two methods either offline or online. For offline method you can download foundation form from ICAI website or just visit the nearest ICAI branch they will provide you with everything and submit your form there.
