Has anyone received your CPT mark statement?,Its been 2 weeks since the results was announced and there was no intimation from the board.

NB:-Also i'm not planning to attend any coaching classes but i want to start studying soon(from my experience of CPT registration it might take about a month for the books to reach me) So please suggest me books for Group I (pls include the name of publishers).

You can go for following books for group 1 of IPCC.
1-- Accounting ------ P.C.Tulsian(S.Chand) + Study material.
2-- Law, ethics & comm. --- Study material + P. C. Tulsian(S. Chand)
3--- Cost & Fin. Mgt. --- Study material + P. C. Tulsian(S. Chand)
4-- Taxation--- Singhania(taxmann) + Study material..
If you do this much and after you prepare everything go for ICAI RTP & Suggested Answers.

Kindly do not neglect ICAI study material specially for Theory portions. Study Service Tax & VAT(50 marks) from Study material only.. These two topics are very easy and you can score good marks easily in Taxation paper.
