CPE Hours

can anyone please help me with the reply...

U NEED NOT COMPLY WID THE REQUIREMENTS AS U HAVNT APPLIED FOR MEMBERSHIP YET....................

Why u not applied for membership? but if you not applied then no CPE requirement applicable to u as you are not member of ICAI.

As the name suggest "Continuing Professinal Education" these CPE hours are required to be completed by a qualified CA once he got membership number.

Currently a member in industry is required to complete 10 hrs in a year and 45 hrs in a period of 3 yrs.

Basic purpose of completing CPE hrs is to keep members in touch with institute and to impart knowleadge by organising seminars on various topics related to Accounts, audit, tax etc.

I personally feel it is a basic need of every member of CA institute.

Hi Sujal, I was not able to get leaves from my office and moreover for 6 months i was in UK so could not do the GMCS but now i have applied for it and my batch is schduled in Jan-09.

Pls let me know my cpe hours credit for the year 2007-08 as extended upto 31.03.2009

How many hours of CPE credit is given to my accouny for the year 2007-08 as extended to 31.03.2008.
