I recvd CPC intimation due to incorrect filing of TDS details in the return. I filed the returns online and by mistake entered the salary TDS under incorrect section. I am not sure if I can file revised returns or shoudl file rectification.
Anyways after logging in IncomeTaxIndia website, to file rectification, I see only few columns. But there is no column to convey the rectification. Is it available in the next screen?

You should revise your return before taking any further step.
Is it possible to file revised return even after receving CPC intimation. Doesn't CPC intimation means that assessment is done?

YES as well as you can go with section 154.
Dear Amiit,
You should file an appeal u/s 154.Enter the details asked for on the first screen.You will the rectification details on the next scrren.you will have to generate a correct .xml file and upload it.The CPC has provided space of 4000 characters to write reasons for the differences in our computation and their computation.You can use that space and explain them the difference and ask them to refer to 26AS to check TDS details.
