I am Chartered Accountant from India, & have a graduate degree for NAAC 'A' rated college.

I aim for CPA licensing without working in USA or under supervision of a CPA.

I would like to work in India, but get a CPA Licencing

Is it possible?  Which state should I apply?

colorado

Hi

Indian CA's were accepted without evaluations till 2010 by the Colorado State. But due to change in regulations it is not the case anymore. You will have to get an evaluation of your academic credentials done from the state you choose. They will then tell you if you are eligible. [all students outside US have to get this evaluation].

California is one of the states which allows CA+BCom degree holders to be eligible for exams.

Licencing and certification are 2 different steps for a CPA. Once you study and clear all the 4 exams you get certified but you may need to get licenced only after working under a CPA[ like Articleship in India] The state board websites are best places to read in detail about the process.
