Coversation of equity shares into preference share possible?

My question is:-

If my company want to convert equity shares into preference shares then is it possible to convert them without applying section 77A ,100 and 101

I think it is possible, as my company is private company , it is just want to shift one class of shares(equity) to other class of shares (preference).

but help me out how to do this..?

please give feed back as soon as possible with suitable sections or notification.
