Recently KPMG has announced that it will be conducting 6 days certification course in ifrs with NIIT Imperia. The course will commence on 2nd December and last date for registeration is 18th Nov. Is it worth doing?

Piron education also conducts 2 days seminar. Which of these will be better?

I have completed my CA Final and my articleship will be completed soon. Please do suggest.

Also i'm little confused about 2 different courses viz Diploma in International Financial Reporting and Certificate in International Financial Reporting provided by ACCA (uk) which is better and more detailed?

And How IFRS course provided by ICAI is(?) in comparison to that provided by ACCA in terms of learning content and recognition?

i suggest do certificate course . but at the end of the day self study is very much required in ifrs

Hi, I got to know that currently PwC, KPMG, Deloitte and Ernst and Young offer courses in IFRS as an extension of their services in India. However, these do not lead to a certificate where you can show that you have the knowledge. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India offers an e-learning course in IFRS, supplemented with a few days of face to face teaching.

Other than these organizations, Get through guides (GTG), a global provider of professional education in finance, management and accounting, offers a Diploma in IFRS which is given by ACCA (one of the largest international accounting bodies in the world). Ensure that you are attending a course which is right for your level.
