Is Gst paid on brokerage included in cost of acquisition for the purpose of calculating long term gain?

Short term vest meets are measured at lower of cost or fair value.
The cost concept is widely used for long term investments
So all related charges are included in the carrying amount of the investment including brokerage, fee.
The tax part is STT tax. It is not added to the cost of acquisition.

As 13 mentions only about brokerage and fee. Not STT.
