last 4 years 2013,2014,2015,2016 there are lot of changes in costing paper. New sums have been included, new concepts have been introduced such as Kaizen costing, practical problems on Pareto analysis, backflush costing, standard costing with linear curve approach, etc. Old videos are outdated n are of no use. Even I also have those videos. I'm also a student of sanjay aggarwal sir n also took revision classes of his for these new concepts n sums for my Nov 16 exams. Trust me old videos are outdated n redundant.
There are new sums in practice manual, rtp, mock test papers, which have been completely ie 100% covered in sanjay aggarwal sir new classes. Since ur attempt is Nov 18 better takes classes in Nov 2017 batch. N please don't go with the old videos otherwise u yourself will hamper ur own studies.

for ca final cost exam pattern is now changed from past exams. recently exam icai ask short & techanical questions. so dont read from old classes ans old books. 

use icai latest module, pm , exam paper and moke test paper

Go for live or satellite classes from Sanjay agg sir...he's the best in industry..nd plz don't do the costing from cd as they are totally redundant nd many many new concepts had been introduced

Can someone tell what do you mean by amendments in costing post March 2012? Is it that earlier some wrong concepts were taught or is it that there has been invention of new concepts which were not there earlier?    What exactly amendments mean

@ amitkhanna invention of new concepts, news sums in pm rtp mock test papers. New concepts such as Kaizen costing, pareto analysis, standard costing with learning curve concept, practical problems on direct product profitability, n many others. Old videos n lectures will help u 70%.. So it's better either go for fresh batch n take classes or go for fresh materials. Don't refer old material.

ok..has anyone taken satish jalan revision and amendment classes...pls advise if it is good
