I have filed ITR 4 after due date i.e. filed for AY 14-15 on 04/08/2014. While submitting the return by oversight, i have mentioned wrong income. Now i want to correct it. Whiel filling revised return, which section to be selected in " Rerurn filec under which section column.

After due date you have filed, do you think you can revise?? Think again.
Then, how to correct the same
Thats the charm of submitting the returns before due date, you have lost the option.
If you have not got assesment order. Please rectify the return generate XML and upload it once again. You were late only by 4days. The status is revised and put acknowledgement no of old returned filed. They may reconsider also. If they gave assessment u have to give request for Condonation for revised return to the CIT of your range. Tax experts please help him also.
You may approach your local AO to issue you a notice under section 142(1) or 139(9) in order to enable you to file a rectified ITR.
Will filing a rectified ITR result in a refund. ?
