Correction of itr files

my income tax file for assessment year 2014-15 was file under ITR-1 and for assessment year 2015-16 it was file under ITR-4S. but to my knowledge both are wrong, my assessment should have been under ITR-4( for proprietorship business). what is the available solution and how can i file the correct ITR for those particular year now.

please suggest.

hi. for A.Y.15-16 You need to file Revise Income tax Return. In such cases you can file a revised return stating the changes. As per section 139(5) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, the revised return can be filed before the expiry of one year from the end of the relevant assessment year or before the completion of assessment by the income tax department, whichever is earlier
