I filed for incorporation of a company. After approval it was found that one of the names of directors was mis-spelt both at the place where MoA was signed and AoA was signed. What needs to be done to rectify the error. Does one have to go through the process of rectification of MoA and AoA. Your help is deeply appreciated

You have to follow the procedure for change in the name of the Company.
Pursuant to section 13 of the Company, the name of the Company can be rectified by passing the special resolution in the general meeting of the Company subject to the approval of Central Govt.
Form MGT 14 must be passed within 30 days of passing the special resolution along with the altered copy of MOA & AOA, certified copy of special resolution along with explanatory statement and Notice of EGM
INC 24 must be filled for change in name of the Company
