No , a non-executive director cant be an employee of the company
Non Executive Director means a director who is neither in full time employment nor a managing director of the company. and also he is an independent director and if he becomes the employee how can he take independent decisions?
An employee is in full time employment of the company and engaged in day to day working of the company.Hence cant be non executive director of the company
