In my compensation plan, employer pays Rs 1200 per month as conveyance allowance. I wanted confirm whether I need to produce documents for this for tax exemption. I'm aware that by default Rs 800 per month is exempted for income tax, however in my case since company pays Rs 1200 per month, is there any provison to make it as non taxable if I produce documents for the same. Please advise..
