Conversion Scheme For PE-II Students To PCC ( Registered on the basis of Graduation )

  • Students who joined Intermediate / PE-II on graduation are not allowed to switch over to PCC unless the last examination i.e. June, 2009 examination is over.
  • After completion of the PE-II exam in June, 2009 you can convert to PCC by paying the prescribed fee.

You have a option either to convert for PCC (upto 30th June, 2009 only after completion of PE-II exam) or  to IPCC.

  • If you register for PCC between 13th-30th June, 2009. you have to join for articleship of 3 & 1/2 years. You have to complete IT training to become eligible for PCC exam.
  • Last PCC exam is in November, 2012. On conversion from PE-II to PCC you will get group wise exemption.

In case, if you join for IPCC,

  • As per the eligibility requirement of IPCC, student has to undergo 9 months sutdy course period compulsorily and
  • have to complete 100 hours IT Training (if not completed earlier) and Orientation course in the study course period to become eligible to appear in the IPCC exam.
  • First IPCC exam is in November, 2009 and you will get paper wise exemption in IPCC.
  • If you are desirous of appearing in IPCC November/ May examinations, you have to enrol /convert to IPCC on or before 31st January/ 31st July respectively i.e.
  • If you convert to IPCC on or before 31st July, 2009 you can appear in the May, 2010 IPCC exam.

hello friends,

I had registered pe-2 scheme in 2007, still i was not appear in any last 5 attempts ,since i was in abroad.but in first attempt i had applied for exam and got the hall ticket, but i could n't attend.

Now my question is , can i join in IPCC By converting from PE-2 scheme.

Pls advice me.

Regards

Yuva

dear Shree, Sorry But

you are absolutely wrong.

One Cannot get converted into PCC after giving the exam in June2009. It is expressly said that after the result of PE-2 exam which is held in june 2009,

you are automatically be converted to IPCC & NOT PCC. Please Note It is IPCC & Not PCC.

Also you have to get converted to IPCC before 31st July 2009 to get the attempt in May 2010. or else you will straight away get Nov2010 attempt on paying the prescribed fees i.e Rs.8000/- (as on 26/06/2009 fees details. Please check at the time of conversion)

And your articles will start only after clearance of FIRST gruop of IPCC Only first group. Say for example if you clear your second group you will not be allowed to start your articles unless you clear your FIRST GROUP of IPCC.

So its adviceable to get converted to IPCC as per the rules but join other part time courses along with IPCC to make the future bright.

All the Best

I would request all the PE-2 STUDENTS TO PLEASE WRITE DOWN A LETTER OF REQUEST TO THE INSTITUTE TO EITHER EXTEND FURTHER 2 TO 4 ATTEMPTS FOR PE-2 STUDENTS  OR PROVIDE US A FACILITY TO APPEAR IN IPCC NOV2009 ATTEMPT OR PCC ATTEMPT IN NOV2009.

IF WE ALL PE-2 STUDENTS PLEAD TO INSTITUTE TO HELP US  FOR OUR BETTER FUTURE, I THINK THE INSTITUTE WILL COME WITH SOME GOOD IDEAS AND NOTIFICATIONS FOR PE-2 OT INTER STUDENTS. SINCE THERE SEEMS NOTHING WRONG IN TRYING FOR ANOTHER TIME FOR EXAMS.

ALSO SUCH A TIME OF SAY 9 MONTHS OR 15 MONTHS (as the case seems now)BLOCK TO PE-2 STUDENTS WOULD BREAK THE MORAL AS ALREADY THE MORAL IS WEAK DUE TO NEGATIVE RESULTS. RIGHT !

SO EVERY STUDENTS EITHER PASSED OR FAILED OR A CA IS HEREBY REQUESTED TO PLEAD TO THE INSTITUTE TO COME WITH A GOOD NEWS THAT STUDENTS OF PE-2 OR INTER CAN APPEAR IN NOV2009 AND FURTHER.

A JOINT REQUEST TO INSTITUTE WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

THANKS

PLEASE THESE ARE MY PERSONAL VIEWS AND IT SHOULD NOTT HURT TO ANYONE IN ANY WAY.

u r right srivastav.we have to come together under thread, decide what to say and should write letter to icai.
