Conversion of preference share to equity shares

Sir,

can any one Suggest the procedure of preference share dividend converted into equity shares. if the company is not paid the dividend to the preference share holders. now the company is converted the preference share to equity shares.

my question is if the company is also alotted the shares for dividend on preference share or not.? if it possible please tell the procedure.
