I understand that, the Registrar of Companies will permit to Register Partnership Firms under Part IX of the Companies Act as Joint Stock Companies on satisfying the procedure and conditions. How will be the name of partnership will change, is it just adding a Private Limited to the existing name or a new can be suggested while converting the partnership firm to a company?

The name of the proposed company taking over a partnership firm is proposed in the same way as the name of new company in Form 1A.
the name can be same as the name of the firm and addition of pvt. ltd. or Ltd. or can be different.
