Is its necessary to make contra voucher in an orgainsation? though we are till today making the entries in payment voucher which is contra in nature. and sir aduit is not so far done yet.
please suggest.

if you are operating bank accounts "contra" entry is a must since with drawal of Cash & deposit will definitely affect both bank & cash a/c

Contra entry is very essential in accounting of any organisation. Remember, every transaction has two fold effect.
