Continue - Income of deceased assessee

Thnx Mr. Ratan & Mr. Pavan for your earlier replies ....

As they have said that income of deceased assessee will be taxable in the hands of legal heirs....

Now, if his (deceased assessee's) son files his return as HUF i.e. Mr. X, HUF, then will there be same treatment

i.e. in whose hands such income will be taxable - any family member or immediate lineal descendent?

If such income is taxable in hands of Mr. X, then how it will be shown in HUF return?

Kindly reply, since it is urgent.

If Deceased Assessee is the Karta, then the HUF Income will be taxed seperately as HUF(status) His Personal income will be taxable with him as the Assessee and not in the hands of the HUF. So, in case the man dies, his son will include his(deceased person's) income in his statement while filing and not in the statement of HUF, So there is no Doubt arising in this matter...
