Consumer Forum court order with inttrest 9% P.A. to the consumer.

i invest rupees 325000 in real estate company in march 2011 and builder no construction work on the falts. i go to consumer forum. consumer forum passed the order against the builder 9% inttrest p.a. and 50000 compensation and 10000 litigation expenses pay to the consmer of Rs. 540000/-. according to incometax law my inttrest income exempted from tax. Please reply.
