In FR CA FINAL OLD course,

In exam, is it necessary to solve CONSOLIDATION's sum same as PM? or

Will it be ok if sum is solved by using different method & not by using same method that given in PM?

Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether students in the FR CA FINAL OLD course must solve consolidation sums exactly as presented in the practice manual (PM). While some believe format and workings are marked, others suggest alternative methods are acceptable as long as the answer is clear and correct. The consensus leans towards flexibility, allowing students to use their own methods provided they are logical and lead to the right conclusion.

My question is whether our solution in exam must match with solution given in practice manual for consolidation sum?
