Confusion in ca direct entry

Hi Sir,

I have completed my B.Tech (Information Technology) with 71% in the year 2011.

For the last 2 years, I have been working as a Software engineer in a top MNC.

I am very much interested in join CA through Direct Entry scheme.

But, I have some doubts regarding the joining and IPCC exam.

1. Am I eligible for Direct Entry scheme(As I am from non commerce background) ?

2. If so, then what is 9 months practical training before IPCC exam.(Class room training/ Articleship)

Does that mean I could not give IPCC exam without having 9 months of practical experience.

3. Can the practical experience be gainied with a full time job? As I am a full time employee and I work 9 Hours a day generally in Afternoon and eveninig (in an IT firm). So, can I get trained in morning.?

4. What will be the last date of joining this course. Assming I may appear for exam next May or Nov 2014.

Thank You,

Regards,

Sekhar

First get registered fr IPCC.As you got morethan 60% in Non commerce grad. you are eligible.Practical trainng is Articleship under a practicing CA. You shall have to complete 100 hrs of Inf.Tech.Training and 35 Hours of CA Orientation Program. These two-ITT and CAOP, are available at ICAI Regional offices or Branches of ICAI only. After completion of 9 months of articleship and completion of itt and op, you can attempt for exams.Direct entry candidates are exempted from clearing first gropu of ipcc for joinging articles. All the info. is available at icai.org website under the tab-students. Best wishes.

Thank you Shivaji Sir for your time.

Could you please tell me if it is possible to do articleship with a full time job.

Thank You.

Just go through the Above link, hope you will get your all questions related top this cleared.

One more thing as you have asked, you can not continue your full time job with that of articleship !
ICAI does not allow this.

Regards.

What if  a commerce graduate having more than 61 % marks in M.Com, but has studies only Accounts and

Financial Management (out of three subjects specified)

And even in these subjects did not score 55 %, however overall percentage is more than 60 percentblush

Can he/she eligible for direct entry in CA IPC ?
