Suppose a manpower agency raises a following bill:
Labour charges : Rs 10000
Service charges: Rs 2000
Total amount : Rs 12000
Now,what will be the taxable amount of service?
Actually i am confused when manpower ageny will include labour charges with this type of bill.

Service tax is on gross amount.

It is alwasys on the gross invoice value

sorry i am taking about TDS ,service tax is chargable on 12000 i.e on gross amt of bill
